In His Name Ministries was established by Rick and Kim Morgan to serve as a catalyst for taking the Gospel of Christ into the country of El Salvador and serving there as Christ would serve.
• Our vision: To be a people that are transformed into fully devoted servants of Christ who together impact the World through the love of God and His Word.
• Our mission: To become a people that love the Lord with all our heart, mind, soul and strength and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.
• Our passion is that of evangelism - reaching out to the irreligious by seeking to make manifest the Gospel of Christ in a culturally relevant way while staying true to the doctrinal purity of God’s Word. We see this in the life of Christ who had a way of living a life which was righteous and holy while also being very attractive to the non-believer.
Rick, Kim and Family
We are presently pastoring the Central church in San Marcos and seek to fulfill this calling through the three churches and Bible School that we have pioneered and now oversee in El Salvador.
Kim and I have been involved in Church Ministry since 1986 and currently reside in San Salvador, which is our second foreign Missions post as a family. We are the proud parents of seven children: Jessica 19, Jacqueline 17, Julissa 15, Johanna 13, James 11, Julianna 8, and John 6. Kim’s heart throb is writing Bible school Curriculum and developing the saints of God for His service through teaching in our Central Church and the Bible School.I greatly enjoy serving as senior pastor of the San Marcos Church and ministering abroad as a missionary evangelist and speaking at leadership development events.

I was born and grew up in Peru, South America and moved to the US when I was 16. Missions have been in my heart since the Lord revealed His love and opened my eyes to understand and receive His gift of salvation while I was on a mission’s trip as a translator during my sophomore year in college. He has radically changed my life since then.
I have always felt drawn to foreign travel and cultures and often evaluated how I could serve in this arena. It is so exciting to see now how the pieces are finally coming together revealing the areas of ministry where I really see myself being used. The Lord has prepared me for this mission in various ways. Through my training in College, experience inn the workplace as a Business Analyst and Project Manager for Wal-Mart Information Systems Division and years of service in my local church. I have participated in missions trips to Jamaica, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Costa Rica and El Salvador. I have completed Biblical studies at College of the Ozarks and a 2-year Theology by extension study – INSTE. I have been blessed to be a part of a wonderful church during my 8 years in Arkansas where I have had the opportunity to apply, grow and sharpen the gifts God has given me. Among other things I have served singing in the praise and worship team, teaching 5th and 6th Sunday school class, volunteering with the Youth, and simultaneously interpreting the Sunday morning sermon into Spanish for our Spanish speaking members. I have also been a volunteer working with many organizations in the community. I am excited and very eager to continue to walk and learn from Jesus in this new assignment and see him move to reach the people of El Salvador.

I have always been a child of extremes. Born in a blizzard in Carson City, called to missions at an early age, never afraid of a challenge; God has proven Himself true to my heart by His extreme persistence and calling.
God has prepared me for this work in various aspects of training and ministry. I am currently working at Procter and Gamble as a Demand Planner. This training has given me skills in Excel and various other word processing programs. I have been able to work in a team atmosphere at P&G which has given me creative ways to interact with and motivate people. I have a certificate of Worship Ministry and Biblical Studies training from Grace Training Center in Kansas City through the International House of Prayer (I.H.O.P.). I also have served as Youth Director at my current church, The Christian Center, for almost 5 years. In that position I have worked to establish youth in leadership, mentored and counseled students, and directed weekly services preparing the teaching and worship. I have also participated in mission trips to El Salvador and Costa Rica through my local church in Arkansas.
In working out the decision process to go to El Salvador, it has been amazing for me to be able to see things in my life that confirm God’s calling. I have only studied Spanish for one semester in college, but somehow I am able to comprehend far more than my training would allow. I see this to be a confirmation of God’s calling and I am anxious to see how God will use that blessing in my life in El Salvador.
